Techland has made a pair of Switch related announcements for Dying Light and its sequel Dying Light 2 Stay Human during last night’s Nintendo Direct.

The first was confirmation of a Cloud Version of Dying Light 2 Stay Human. We’re promised all the features of the version on the bigger consoles, including four-player co-op. Of course, as it runs from the Cloud a constant internet connection will be required. However, there’ll also be a handy free demo on the Nintendo eShop too so you can check it works beforehand.

The other announcement pertained to the Nintendo Switch version of the first game. As previously established, Dying Light Platinum Edition will include all the first game’s DLC including The Following. Bozark Horde and Hellraid. However, we also got some details on Dying Light’s the release’s Switch-specific features. These include HD rumble, use of the touchscreen, gyro aiming and motion controls.

We also got announcements for release dates for both games. Dying Light Platinum Edition lands on Nintendo Switch on October 19. Dying Light 2 Stay Human Cloud Version will land on the same day as the other consoles, on February 4 2022.
