With the introduction of Stasis in Destiny 2, players have been able to fine-tune their characters to a degree never seen before with any other subclass. Fragments, which can be equipped when using the Stasis subclass, offer a variety of perks and bonuses to abilities and stats. Recently, a player discovered that using certain fragments, the right class, and the new Destiny 2 exotic, they can fully charge a character's Super surprisingly fast under the right conditions.

Reddit user u/ntwomey3 posted a short guide to achieving this expedited route to gaining Super, along with a link to a YouTube video that showed the method in action. According to the instructions, players looking to replicate this will need to be using the Warlock class, the Stasis subclass, and the following fragments: Whisper of Fissures, Whisper of Bonds, Whisper of Hedrons, and Whisper of Refraction. Additionally, players will need to pair the new Ager's Sceptre exotic trace rifle with the Mantle of Battle Harmony exotic chest piece.

With all of these ingredients, players can potentially charge their Super in around 28 seconds. However, the example in the video shows them using the method in the Thrallway, an area of the game with a neverending spawn of Thrawls. Players will rarely be in this scenario when playing the rest of the game, so the speed at which the Super will charge can vary greatly. That being said, anything to boost the gain of a Super is helpful and players may still want to adopt this strategy.

Once a player's Super energy is full, they may want to utilize the catalyst for Ager's Scepter. If the catalyst is equipped and the player's Super energy hits max, they can then use that energy to overflow the exotic trace rifle, adding bonus damage and the ability to slow and freeze targets. This effect will last until the magazine or Super energy runs out, or the weapon is stowed.

Ager's Scepter was introduced recently as part of Season of the Lost, the last season before the next big Destiny 2 expansion. Shortly before the season officially began, Bungie laid out the details for the expansion, showing off a reveal trailer for The Witch Queen, which properly introduced audiences to Savathun. Everything in the current season is leading up to the final confrontation between the Hive god and humanity.

After the initial trailer, a gameplay video revealed even more content, such as a preview of Savathun's throne world, a new Glaive weapon, and one of the biggest upcoming obstacles for Guardians to date: Hive Guardians. Somehow, the Witch Queen has harnessed the Light for her own means and infused it into Hive soldiers. When facing enemies like that, methods that aid players in quickly charging their Super will definitely come in handy.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
