While Call of Duty: Vanguard is still more than a month away, fans of the series received more content to check out as a result of the recent Season 5 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Warzone. This new update tweaked several weapons and introduced the modes Clash and Iron Trials to the game, giving players a reason to hop back into the action. Unfortunately, not everything about the new patch has gone smoothly, as one player discovered a new bug in the game.

Call of Duty" Warzone’s Verdansk map is huge, and with so much ground to cover, the Warzone developers added vehicles to help players traverse the rugged landscape. Some of the vehicles scattered across the map include ATVs, Tactical Rovers, and Cargo Trucks. The game even features helicopters for those that want to take to the sky. Each of these vehicles is meant to help players rotate effectively and avoid the encroaching poisonous gas cloud. However, one player discovered an unintended way to use vehicles after getting knocked in a fight.

In a recent video, a Reddit user known as birdoandratchet discovered a new glitch while playing a game of Call of Duty: Warzone. In the clip, the gamer is seen sitting in a Tactical Rover stuck in the back of a Big Bertha truck. While attempting to free the vehicle, the player began taking fire from an opposing squad. After the enemy team downed the gamer, things started to get weird.

Once the gamer was downed, they were ejected from the Tactical Rover. However, in a strange turn of events, the Call of Duty: Warzone player managed to maintain control over the vehicle. After a few more seconds, they finally dislodged the Tactical Rover from the truck bed and began to speed away from the fight. The camera continued to follow the vehicle even as the downed player remained in the back of the truck. Somehow, birdoandratchet successfully drove away from the skirmish in a driverless car. Unfortunately for the player, the glitch didn’t last long, as it ended a few moments later after the player was finished by the enemy.

While this new glitch isn’t desirable, many fans on Reddit still found it amusing. Despite Call of Duty: Warzone's Halloween event being over a month away, some joked that the game was already featuring ghost cars. Others suggested that the knocked player should have tried to down his opponents while using the driverless car.

This isn’t the only issue with vehicles the game has faced in recent days. Besides this ghost car glitch, some hackers are making vehicles fly in Warzone. As such, hopefully Raven Software can fix these vehicular problems over the coming days.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
