With the arrival of patch 1.3 to Cyberpunk 2077, a host of new changes and bug fixes have come to CD Projekt Red's controversial futuristic first person RPG. Considering the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 being such a notorious debacle, CDPR have been working to regain some good faith with players through a slew of updates since the game came out in September of last year. Unfortunately, the latest patch seems to be suffering from some unexpected issues, with cars around Night City floating around in ghostly fashion.

Patch 1.3 comes with a huge list of changes. Some of the more notable touch-ups include a zoomed out minimap while driving, 10 extra autosave slots, the ability to bulk-upgrade cfating components, and a bunch of balance changes to weapons and enemy AI. Among the lengthy set of bug fixes for the game are many quest-specific alterations that will stop a number of soft-locks and progression issues. There are, however, many issues still apparent in the game, with Cyberpunk's cities still full of clones, and bugs aplenty across the sprawling Night City.

One bug in particular, pointed out by A_Esposito on Reddit, has seen parked cars floating above the ground. The cars are stationary, and don't seem to have any other bugs associated with them other than their initial position. Whether this glitch can occur in tandem with other 1.3 glitches, such as Cyberpunk's cars randomly popping into existence through the roof of other vehicles is yet to be seen, though with the game's track record it wouldn't be unprecedented.

People jokingly suggested that CD Projekt Red had finally added drivable flying cars to the game, with others noting that this glitch may have been added to compensate for the numerous buried cars around Night City, another car-related bug plaguing Cyberpunk fans after the patch. While CD Projekt Red have clearly put a lot of effort into Cyberpunk 2077's latest patch, it is also clear that the game is still in need of some work, with bugs like this still being pervasive.

The continued support for the game is, at least, a positive sign for Cyberpunk fans, with CDPR showing that they are willing to put in the time to bring the game up to the originally promised standard. Though the game has perhaps been marred too significantly by its initial release to ever be considered on par with their previous title, The Witcher 3, each patch for Cyberpunk brings it closer to being the rpg that gamers expected. If CD Projekt Red can survive the lawsuits levelled at them for Cyberpunk's botched release, they made still be able to remain a respected gaming company going forward.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One. PS5 and Xbox Series X upgrades are in development.
