MY.GAMES, the publisher behind Skyforge, Conqueror’s Blade, and Smilegates Lost Ark in Russia, has seen quite a bit of growth with revenue increasing by 1% from last year’s revenue. Despite having several MMORPG’s under their belt, the Quarter 2 Financials show that the growth was primarily attributed to Mobile, carrying 77% of the total revenue of MY.GAMES.

MY.GAMES has published several MMORPG’s under their belt, but despite seeing some modest growth in two of their biggest, Conqueror’s Blade and Skyforge, neither game predominantly garnered substantial revenue growth, despite seeing an influx in players. Skyforge has surpassed 13 million registered users in 2021. Conqueror’s Blade, which has just released their Season 8 Dynasty reached 3.4 million players, with more than 50% year over year revenue growth.

Despite both MMORPG’s seeing success, they were dwarfed by MY.GAMES cross platform first person shooter, Warface, which reached over 117 million players worldwide, as it broadens its appeal across platforms and distribution partners.

"In the second quarter of 2021, we managed to demonstrate growth against the background of a significant decline in the overall dynamics of the global games market. This was achieved by MY.GAMES strategic approach to portfolio diversification and our focus on organic product growth. The company's revenue grew by 18% in the first half of 2021, despite the effect of the high base of the previous year. In addition, we continue to successfully increase business efficiency — the second quarter of 2021 was the best in terms of marginality (24%) since the beginning of 2020."

– Vasily Marguryan, CEO, MY.GAMES

Despite not seeing what some would consider exponential growth in the MMO-space, the financials are certainly encouraging for those that have been charmed by Conqueror’s Blade’s unique combat system. MY.GAMES is also the publisher of Smilegates popular MMO ARPG Lost Ark, which is headed to western audiences via Amazon Game Studios later this year.
