The world of Red Dead Redemption 2 is one that has indefinitely hit home for players. Much like Grand Theft Auto before it, Red Dead is an expansive franchise that has given way to a variety of fan-made art projects, all of which serve as an ode to the Western action-adventure game. In the case of one player, they went as far as utilizing photoshop to make an impressive cinematic poster of Van der Linde gang members Arthur Morgan and John Marston.

Devoted fans of Red Dead Redemption will know of the history had between Arthur and John. Despite having some similarities, the two outlaws are shown to be vastly different from one another. In general, Arthur is the more experienced gang member, though John does have some advantages that make him just as formidable. All of that is captured in Reddit user tractorzaphod's poster, which shows Arthur and John walking side by side.

In their poster, tractorzaphod staged it such that Arthur and John were walking alongside a cliff, looking out over the expansive Western landscape. What's particularly striking is that using photoshop, the Redditor applied an effect that makes it look like the clouds are passing over the Red Dead Redemption 2 title. Combined with the special effects, the poster very much resembled what one would see in a movie theater.

Some Redditors pointed out in the comments below that the poster was cool, though John's position was of concern. To be fair, the outlaw is known for being a bit more on the wild side when compared to Arthur. Still, some Red Dead Redemption 2 fans found it alarming as it would seem that John is walking off of the edge of the cliff. It's certainly not how John sees his end in the universe, though Arthur would no doubt tease him following the nasty fall.

Even without the use of photoshop, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an extremely gorgeous gaming experience. One fan utilized the sequel's photo mode to recreate the cover art for Red Dead Redemption, catching a lot of the main elements. This all goes to show that the longevity of the game is undeniable and it won't be losing steam anytime soon. The good thing is it should hold Red Dead fans over well, as a Red Dead Redemption 3 release is probably a long time from now.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
