Trails spinoff title The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails is being brought to Western shores by NIS America in 2023. This is a PlayStation 4 remaster of the PSP game that released all the way back in 2012, exclusively in Japan.
Unlike other Trails titles that you may be familiar with, The Legend of Nayuta doesn't have turn based combat. Instead, it opts for action-based battles, a bit like Falcom's other well-known property, Ys.
The Legend of Nayuta will boast both English and Japanese voiceovers, and it'll run at 60 frames-per-second. Sounds great!

I've played Nayuta on the PSP and although the framerate was dreadful on that system, the game itself is an absolutely glorious action-rpg.
Combat, i.e. gameplay, is so much fun and has that certain Ys flow to it.
Can't wait to play a perfect 60 fps port in 2023.
I'm not a Trails fan...I assume I'd have to play Trails of the Sky, of the Azure, of the Cold Steel, of the Dark Mountain, of the Giant Robot with Swords and I can't forget about, Trails of the School with powerful students but don't call me Persona - to fully understand Trails of Nayuta?
I'm messing with you guys! but glad to see games that have similarities to Ys combat. That's one of my favorites!
I'm losing track of all these Trails... but in the best possible way! Ys made me a Falcom fan, can't wait to get started on the Trails series as well. I guess I'll start with Trails in the Sky FC?

2023 looks like it’s going to be a good year if nothing gets delayed.
@strawhatcrew Actually the game isn't canon and is standalone so no need to play the other games if you don't want to. 😉
@Subsided If they were at E3, I agree they would have been a high contender.
