The Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin demo has been a huge hit among fans so far, and many simply can't get enough of it. Although the demo mission can be completed within a few hours depending on player skill, there is plenty more to do even after players manage to beat Garland. For those that went through on Normal or Easy the first time, there's effectively a new game plus mechanic that allows players to start the mission over while keeping all of their equipment and levels. From here, players can aim to reach the maximum level in the game, but there's some confusion around what that max level is.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin features a job system just like Final Fantasy 14 or Final Fantasy Tactics. Because of this, there isn't a simple answer to what the max level is because each job levels up independently from all the others. Still, a little bit of digging reveals this still isn't a complicated question to answer.

Put plainly, the max level in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin's demo is level 30, but that applies to each job. Since there are six jobs available in the trial version of the game, that means players will need to reach a total of 180 levels in order to max out every job. Thankfully, the amount of experience required to get to the next level isn't based on character level but the actual level of the job, so getting to level 30 Black Mage takes the same amount of experience even if it is the last job the player maxes.

What is the max level in final fantasy origin demo

Even without level grinding to the max on a class, players can parse out the max level by doing a bit of math. Each of the skills in the job skill trees have a specific cost, and players can see those costs from the very beginning. Adding it all together reveals that the player needs a total of 29 level ups to unlock everything. Since players start at level 1, that ends up reaching the level 30 cap mentioned before.

Players that are really enjoying the demo should feel free to level grind their hearts out, but it should be said that none of this progress will carry over into the main game when it releases in 2022. For a great spot to farm experience, players should head to the large, chapel looking area part way through the level. Here there are a ton of wolves that reward a good amount of experience. A well timed Flare spell will kill almost all of them at once.
