Since it launched back in 2017, the popular sci-fi shooter Destiny 2 has a long history with bugged weapons giving players a massive edge. Two weapons in particular, Prometheus Lens and Lord of Wolves, were so destructive that Bungie actually made emblems that unlocked for players who participated in the Crucible PvP mode during the weapon's bugged phase. While players may have fun utilizing these overpowered weapons, Bungie typically moves quickly to adjust them back to normal levels.

However, the most infamous of the bugged weapons is Telesto, a fusion rifle that has broken Destiny 2 numerous times over the past 4 years. The strange glitches and bugs range from small benefits like making the Blind Well event move faster, to more destructive issues such as one hit killing other players in the Crucible. Unsurprisingly, players have come across another bugged weapon which is causing havoc with PvE modes including the Vault of Glass.

When taking on the Templar inside of the Vault of Glass, YouTuber Luckyy 10P and fireteam managed to absolutely melt the Destiny 2 boss in four seconds flat. In the fast moving clip, after the Templar phases into the battle, its life bar seemingly drains almost instantaneously, resulting in a lot of confusion from the players in the raid. In an effort to understand what had happened, the group messed around with various weapons and as it turns out, the group discovered a new weapon glitch with the exotic rocket launcher called the Two-Tailed Fox.

After multiple Templar runs, the group discovered that when multiple people fire the Two-Tailed Fox at the same time at the same target, the amount of damage dealt is significantly greater than what it should be. The numbers displayed on screen don't register properly, so the group isn't sure if this is simply tied to the Templar or if it'll work on other Raid bosses as well. Regardless, the bug has been discovered at a good time, as the Two-Tailed Fox can actually be picked up at the exotic merchant Xur this weekend, so all players will actually have a chance to check it out.

Considering the fact that there's still a lot of unknowns with this glitch, it's possible it may fly under the radar from Bungie, who tends to move quickly to correct issues like this. Either way, there's no shortage of things for Bungie to work on, outside of the fact that it has a major expansion coming early in 2022. The studio just finished a complete overhaul of Stasis and developers have already confirmed numerous weapon changes on the way as well including special weapon adjustments.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is now available PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
