Originally released for PlayStation 4 back in 2018, Metal Max Xeno was a quirky Japanese RPG with a post-apocalyptic setting (and loads of weird, over-the-top enemies). It was met with rather lukewarm reviews, but the game's getting a second chance in 2022.

The suitably named Metal Max Xeno Reborn comes with a number of enhancements. The press release promises visual upgrades along with updated battle, skill, and modification systems. Basically, it sounds like the whole thing's been rebalanced.

Again, Metal Max Xeno is quite unique, both in its gameplay and its often strange setting. If Reborn's improvements make a real difference, then this could be one to keep an eye on.
