Watch Dogs Legion's Next Major Update to Add 60FPS Support on PS5

Watch Dogs Legion plays perfectly fine on PlayStation 5, but there's no denying a higher frame rate would be nice. Fortunately, a 60 frames-per-second mode is indeed coming to the new-gen version of the game, as confirmed back in April by Ubisoft.

So, when will this 60fps support arrive? There are no confirmed dates as of yet, but a recent blog post from the publisher goes over the details of the title's next major update. Title update 4.5 will fix a number of issues, but fans will certainly be pleased to hear that it's this update that'll include support for the higher frame rate. Again, no dates of any kind, but update 4.5 is the one to watch out for. It's worth noting that the 60fps mode will only be coming to the PS5 version, not PS4.

That's one good thing on being well behind on games as when i do play my next game it has all the patches/extra features ready! lol

Not a day too soon. I've had this game laying around for months now just waiting for this update before I’d pick it up for real.

So nothing for PS4 version then? There is still some issues with gameplay and other misc bugs that need to be addressed

Mabey this 60fps update will get me back on the game. I purchased it for $30 back in December but I only played for a few hours. I'm assuming the 60fps update will still have ray tracing included? Either way I'll check it out when the update drops.

I don’t get the hate this game gets. It much much better than 2 and London looks decent as well. I hope they add some new MP modes soon.

@Boucho11 Yeah, I really like this one too. Could have done with a bit more time in development though, but, covid has to be taken into account. Watch Dogs 1 is still my favourite, though as I liked the more linear format and grim noir-moodiness.

Watch dogs Legion is the weakest game in trilogy. I hate London setting and it just gives me the bad vibe in general, but that aside, game doesn't shine as it is. Watch dogs was actually really awesome game all side effects of bad media aside and watch dogs 2 was just perfect so Legion being this bad is a huge bummer.
