The Shadow Warrior series is something of a cult hit — technically not the greatest games in the world, but beloved by fans. In this new gameplay clip, courtesy of IGN, it's easy to understand why — Shadow Warrior 3 is looking like a more colourful DOOM here, and we can certainly get on board with that.
The only real question mark hanging over the latest entry has been regarding platforms. Up until recently, it was only confirmed for PC. However, that's now changed, and the title will indeed be blasting its way onto PlayStation 4, sometime in 2021.

Funny how out of Duke Nukem, Blood and Shadow Warrior, Shadow Warrior was the 90s fps series that is still relevant. These are fun games btw and usually you can buy the first two for very cheap.
Loved the first, but felt that movement and melee was just... off in the second one. It didn't feel nearly as good to play and the loot system was just a convoluted mess.
Hopefully they've refined things a bit, because it looks bonkers wild.
I’d never heard of the Shadow Warrior games until I played SW2 on GamePass...and I absolutely loved it. Now I can’t wait for SW3!
I enjoyed my time with SW2. I played it solo and in co-op. It was a lot of fun.
I recently played through the '97 original and had a blast. Pretty fun little game with some cool weapons and great level design if you can look past the "offensive" stuff. It's literally free on Steam and GOG, and the "Redux" version is regularly on sale for $1.99

Bought SW 1 and 2 in a bundle but couldnt get into it. I like old school shooters but this just didnt click. A lot of killing the same enemies over and over. Which would be okay because a lot of old school shooters are like that but it just didnt feel very smooth or satisfying
This looks nothing like the original Shadow Warrior, if anything it reminds me most of Serious Sam 2 which was a significant mistake, thankfully Doom was brought back successfully and it’s almost miraculous if you think about it. If anybody ever brings back Blood they better do it justice and not like this drivel
Looks lovely. I really like shadow warrior games and the third game seems to be as if doom had a baby with serious Sam. Definitely took my interest.
