Zombie Army 4: Dead War has unveiled its announcement trailer for its third season. The trailer showcases the variety of new content coming to the game, displaying new weapons, skins, a new campaign mission, and more.
Rebellion Developments' popular third-person zombie shooter franchise launched just over a year ago. Met with generally positive reviews upon release, the game has gone on to see a robust amount of post-launch support, with each new season adding a substantial amount of content. Zombie Army 4: Dead War received a free next-gen upgrade last month, offering players significantly reduced load time and enhanced visual fidelity.
The roughly 90 second Zombie Army 4: Dead War trailer is filled to the brim with content announcements and zombie slaying action. The first detail revealed about Season 3 is the introduction of the new Nightmare Mode difficulty, for those who didn't think Brutal was, well, brutal enough. Frozen in Fear will be a new free Horde map, appearing to take place in the remnants of a snow-covered military installation. Perhaps the biggest addition is Terminal Error, the new campaign mission touted as the largest one yet. From what the footage reveals, players will be tasked with investigating a giant dome-shaped machine on a massive map.
The remainder of the trailer is a sizzle reel of action shots featuring some of the new Season 3 content. Players will be getting the Undercover Marie character skin and a new gun in the form of the M1934 Pistol, as well as new zombie-themed charms and headgear, with additional content in the pipeline. Zombie Army 4: Dead War seems to have upped the stakes even further, and if the Season 2-ending Dead Zeppelin event was any indication, the new season should be nothing short of incredible.
