A quick PSA in case this slipped past you, Gamigo is shutting down several titles today, including Twin Saga, Defiance and Defiance 2050. Though the actual news of the shutdowns were announced earlier this year in February, the time has come.
We first reported on these shut downs in February with Twin Saga, Defiance, and Defiance 2050 all shuttering. At the time, this was what was shared about the Twin Saga shutdown:
"After 5 years in Twin Saga full of peaks and valleys together, the story of the twin goddesses, Marisa and Amaris, has come to an end. Today, with a heavy heart, we are sad to announce that Twin Saga will officially cease all operations on April 29, 2021."
The shutdowns also extend to Defiance and Defiance 2050. The primary reason for the shut down here was that these games simply couldn’t sustain themselves.
“Since the release of Defiance 8 years ago, followed by the release of Defiance 2050 3 years ago, we have shared countless gaming memories. Today we come to you with hearts heavy with sadness as we announce that Defiance and Defiance 2050 will officially cease all operations on April 29, 2021.”
Prior to the shutdown, several bonuses and discounts were available including:

- Every 1-2 weeks, we will hold a server event for Defiance and Defiance 2050.
- Server Boosts for Skill, Reputation, and Experience Points will be active.
