With Genshin Impact's Version 1.5 update just over the horizon, another content livestream known as a Special Program will release tomorrow, detailing what players can expect. With so many major leaks and datamines breaking out just as Version 1.4 released, players are eager to see what will make it in the update and what won't.

Save for 1.1, each update has been precluded by a Special Program, featuring the voice actors showing off the expected content for that version's lifespan, including the banners and events. But this livestream is unique and is expected to answer quite a few questions. Just before Genshin Impact's 1.4 update dropped on March 17, a number of major leaks also surfaced on the internet, revealing two new characters, the four-star Yanfei and the five-star Eula, expected to get banners during 1.5's lifespan.

Additionally, dataminers found information in the game files that were seemingly accidentally made public by miHoYo, revealing massive new additions to Genshin Impact's gameplay. According to the leaks, this may include new weekly bosses, three new events, new Artifacts, and a new Artifact Domain. But perhaps the most interesting details to be leaked were showing a new house customization system in action, where players can build and decorate houses on private islands. Perhaps more footage will be shown during the Special Program tomorrow, April 16 at 11 AM UTC/4 AM PT.

While all of this is major and fans are certainly excited for Version 1.5, the big question is whether Genshin Impact will now include all of the previously mentioned new content in light of these leaks. Developer miHoYo wasn't happy about them surfacing online, responding with a tweet that once again explains how leaks may disrupt the development process and could cause misconceptions about the upcoming content.

In regards to Genshin Impact's Version 1.5 update, it's unclear how miHoYo plans to proceed. The developer has been cracking down on leakers, with the Twitter accounts of prominent insiders having been closed for weeks now, and looks to be taking more serious legal action against leakers. But the developer hasn't been transparent about the upcoming content.

Much of the content that was previously leaked for Genshin Impact Version 1.5, such as the new Domain or even the attractive housing system, could be nixed, at least for the time being. But fans were most excited to hear about the five-star Eula, a Cryo Vision wielding a claymore, and it would be sad to not see her release during 1.5 due to the many leaks against miHoYo's wishes.

But all of these questions will be answered during Version 1.5's Special Program tomorrow, and perhaps players will also get an update on Genshin Impact's PS5 release.

Genshin Impact is out now for Mobile, PC, and PS4, and is in development for PS5 and Switch.
