The most recent patch to Disco Elysium: The Final Cut is a small one, but adds more bug fixes on top of the previous update from developer ZA/UM.

ZA/UM recently released the highly anticipated Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, an extended version of the dystopian RPG Disco Elysium. Based on feedback from fans of the original game, The Final Cut added complete voicework for all characters and dialogue throughout, including its narration and the protagonists' thought process. It also added some quests based on the player's specific political skew, which were originally cut from the base version of Disco Elysium.

Though Disco Elysium: The Final Cut just released at the end of March, ZA/UM has now released yet another round of bug fixes, though Patch 1.3 was just released yesterday and resolved a number of glitches, interaction errors, and soft locks. It's likely that players can expect many rounds of small bug fixes rather than one massive update spaced far apart going forward.

Patch 1.4, or Version 1.004 on PlayStation 5, is available for download now and only weighs a small 280 MB. Additionally, ZA/UM is quick to respond to fan concerns on social media. One player reported on Twitter that they were unable to enter the protagonist's room while another shows a game-halting bug in a video. ZA/UM responded with a possible fix for the latter, but make sure to report all bugs to the developer via the Google Form so they can be formally resolved.

For those not in the know, The Final Cut isn't a paid DLC or an extended standalone much like Persona 5 Royal to the vanilla version of Persona 5. Rather, it's completely free and is presented as a large update to those who previously purchased the game.

Disco Elysium is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, and Stadia with Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S versions slated for 2021.
