Another Community Day weekend is here, which means it is time for Pokemon GO trainers to head out into the world and spend a handful of hours tracking down the spotlight Pokemon and searching for shiny spawns while enjoying an afternoon full of bonuses and special features.

Over the past year it has become tradition for Pokemon GO Community Day events to feature a companion ticketed Special Research chain. The chain is inexpensive, but does require the investment of some real world money. Snivy is the featured Pokemon this month, which means trainers who opt in to the ticketed Snivy in the Sunshine research will be in for lots of Snivy encounters and candy as they work through the tasks.

The April Community Day takes place on April 11, so players who purchase the ticket will want to be sure to be active in the mobile AR game during the event window between 11am and 5pm local time in their area. The Snivy in the Sunshine special research will almost certainly require catching a ton of Snivy, so fans will definitely want to take advantage of the community day spawns if they have their eye on the final completion rewards at the end of the line.

That should be everything trainers need to know in order to power through the Snivy in the Sunshine special research. Just keep the Community Day date and hours in mind. Getting everything taken care of during the limited timeframe of one afternoon is usually the most difficult part, considering the fact that nearly all the tasks are incredibly simple and will be easily completed just by playing the game and doing usual activities like catching, transferring, or using berries.

Over the next week or so players should begin to learn a lot more about what other events are on the way throughout the rest of the the Season of Legends. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
