The brand new map is just about to finally arrive in Among Us. The community around the who-dun-it social game is very passionate, so much so that someone recently created an Among Us engagement ring box, so the excitement around the new Airship map is extremely high as well. And in leading up to the release of the map, developer InnerSloth just announced a brand new skin bundle.
The Airship map in Among Us is releasing tomorrow, and to celebrate fans will be able to purchase an Airship Skin Bundle. The exciting details have been shared via a tweet from the official Twitter page of the game.
The Airship Skin Bundle will come with 13 new hats, 3 skins, and 1 unique kill animation. The hats range from everything from a red mohawk to what looks like a yellow cheese top hat. The skins look to include an orange prison suit, a general outfit, and a cyborg costume. Meanwhile, the kill animation is rather impressive, as it sees the Impostor shooting a deathray directly out of its eye to blast the crewmate in half.
As far as price and date, the Airship Skin Bundle will be available in Among Us when the Airship map drops, so on March 31. It can be purchased for the same price as any other standard skin bundle in the game, and they usually go for $1.99 USD. The pricing model is something that makes a lot of sense for those who enjoy and want to continue supporting Among Us. Keeping the game going with ongoing free content--such as new maps--while providing paid non-game altering paid content is a solid business model.
Among Us is available on Mobile, PC, and Switch, with Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions coming in 2021.
