gamigo has announced that its fantasy MMORPG, Rift, is turning ten years old this year. Players are invited to come to a celebration of a decade of service starting with the Carnival of the Ascended event that is running from now through April 22nd.
During the event, players will be able to collect special gifts that are sure to please. These include:
- the 10th Anniversary Cape
- the 10th Anniversary Cake that provides a raid buff
- the Fancy Celebration Cake with a fun twist that turns all partakers into Carnival Unicorns while awarding the Carnival Rush Achievement
- three new celebratory Artifact collections with rewards for completing each
- the Guardian Valmeras and Defiance Warhorses are now available
- the Ascended Trillian Lockwert Minion is now available complete with 11 Minion Missions that guide players through the backstory of the Old Ascended
