Update 0.10.2 is the latest update for World of Warships and brings a bunch of visual enhancements, new event, and more.
The visual enhancements bring an effective makeover for various effects throughout the game. This means that things like shell tracers, gunfire, water splashes, ship fires, and more have seen a visual overhaul. This is all to complement the new lighting system implemented in the game. New effects have been added too like ricochets.
The update also brings Part 2 of the Italian battleships event. As previously reported, the Italian navy has joined World of Warships. New ships and content have been added like the VI Leone, VII Duca degli Abruzzi, VIII Roma, or IX Marco Polo, as well as special signals, Free XP, Regia Marina expendable camouflages, days of Warships Premium Account, and Doubloons.
Sea monsters are making a return as well as part of the Key Battle mode which sees 16 players fight each other and AI monsters as they attempt to flea the area through a portal located in the center of the map.
