Assassin's Creed Valhalla's first expansion now has a confirmed release date. Wrath of the Druids will see Eivor travel the Ireland, where you'll "gain the favour of Gaelic kings and confront the druidic cult, the Children of Danu". Given some of the rather twisted storylines in the main campaign, it all sounds quite interesting.
Beyond that brief overview, though, we don't know much else about Wrath of the Druids. It'll obviously take place within a brand new open world map, and we're sure that there'll be new weapons and armour to find, but that's all we've got. Additional details are bound to be heading our way in the near future.
Wrath of the Druids will launch on the 29th April as part of the Assassin's Creed Valhalla season pass — or you can purchase it separately.

I really hope Ubisoft has recruited some actual Irish voice actors for this DLC.
The amount of times you hear English or even American voice actors attempting Scottish and Irish accents in games is shocking. Nearly always terrible, too!

Sounds good tho I wonder if theyl address why Welsh is unintelegable in the game. As a welshman it irks me. Not that i speak it but it wasn't a dead language back then amd i think the animus could have at least written the subtitles properly lol

@SuperSilverback Cait in Fallout 4 is one of the worst offenders in recent memory. Character with an Irish accent voiced by a Scottish woman, and it's painfully obvious. Great job Bethesda.
I'm very excited for this DLC. It's exciting as an Irish person to finally see Ireland as a location within a major game.
I'm 3 trophies away from platinum. I must go finish them soon.
I'm not native English language speaker, so cannot judge accents. I can recognize only common pronunciation, anything else sounds like sea pirates mumbling.
Right now I'm about 44 hours far (pledged 3rd location) and with my speed I think I'll reach Druids dlc around june...

Hopefully the DLC has quality over quantity. And doesn't have another 20 regions with hundreds of glowing icons scattered across the map.

I'm still recovering (and tackling some of my backlog) after sinking 200 hours into the main game and getting the platinum on the way.
Good to know there's another six weeks' grace before I start smacking druids left, right and centre with my hammers. I'm expecting Sláine with more sex and violence - no pressure.
Interesting Because Throughout History very little is known about Druids.....I mean it is well documented the Roman's butchering of them in Anglesey North Wales virtually wiped them out......Yes the Celts Survived but the Celtic deity lived on in myths........Indecently one of the Deity Known as Bel was celebrated in a festival known as Beltane ‘fires of Bel’ it is a fire festival that celebrates of the coming of summer and the fertility of the coming year.........And the Date May Eve 30th April/1st May

@ShogunRok I don't think Americans know what they're doing when it comes to accents and other countries. In Planescape: Torment, Annah has a Scottish accent and is voiced by a Scottish actress - so far so good - but each character also had a free DLC costume and hers was a St Patrick's Day outfit. 🤔
@Icey664 It doesn't take place in America but Geralt still has an American accent. It doesn't take place in Birmingham but the Bloody Baron still has a Midlands accent. There are Irish accents in TW3, and they're awful.
Cerys was played by an Irish actor though. She was fine.
Okay ubisoft April 29th you say hmmm now put it back 2 weeks 2work out the bugs. Every piece of AC Valhalla content (xcluding paid mtx of course😉🤣) has been bugged.
