Elder Scrolls Online’s Update 29 and Flames of Ambition DLC are out now on consoles.
The release was confirmed in a recent Tweet by the official account, noting the content’s availability on all platforms.
“The Flames of Ambition DLC and Update 29 are live on all platforms! Two new dungeons, changes to Champion Points, and more are now available:”
As noted, the update also contains the changes to the Champion Points system which you can read up on here. Update 29 also brings a reset to skill points and Champion Points, however, you’ll have some time to go in and allot your refunded points.
The Flames of Ambition DLC is the first content drop for the year-long Gates of Oblivion adventure in ESO. This DLC brings two new dungeons to the game: Black Drake Villa and The Cauldron. These include normal difficulties in addition to veteran difficulties. There are also optional hard modes for three bosses.
In recent news, it was announced that ESO had surpassed total lifetime players of 18 million, with 3 million new players added in 2020 alone. This news was revealed during last week’s Bethesda Joins Xbox roundtable.
