Phantasy Star Online 2 Is Now On The Epic Games Store

SEGA's popular MMORPG, Phantasy Star Online 2, has now launched on the Epic Games Store today, making it available on Steam, Epic and the Windows 10 store for PC players. The MMORPG releases with all of the content through Episode 6, as well as some new collaborations with Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2199.

Today's update also brings with it a new Special Breakthrough Training: Episode 6, new Rising Weapons Badge Exchange Shop items, and more. 

The Special Breakthrough Training: Episode 6 will take players in teams of 12 to take on three areas in a VR environment, all culiminating in a final area with enemies to defeat.

"It’s going to take everything you’ve got to break the front line of Shiva’s defense. To aid our operatives in preparing, we’ve created a VR environment that will see participants navigating various obstacles while working in teams of 12 to take control of 3 areas. To succeed in this mission and claim your rewards, you’ll need to defeat the enemies in the final area."

Also added to Phatansy Star Online 2 is a collaboration with Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2199, offering new layering pieces and accessories inspired by the anime. These are available via the next AC Scratch Ticket collection, titled COSMO FLEET HEROES.
