As time ticks down towards the upcoming March release of the Flames of Ambition DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online, the team at ZeniMax are starting to pull back the veil of some of the characters, starting with the Dremora, Lyranth.

The Meet The Character post is written from the point of view of a character in the world of Tamriel, detailing information about the new character, Lyranth. Lyranth is a character you can encounter in the Cauldron, one of the two dungeons that make up the Flame of Ambition update kicking off this year's Gates of Oblivion storyline.

Lyranth, also called the "Dread Lady," is a "Dremora of great guile and cunning," according to the letter in the post. She also seems to deal with rather fatal and wild mood swings, as described by Rogatus Cinna, the Dread Lady's prophet.

"Well, my Dread Lady is somewhat dangerous. I can’t deny that. I saw her snap the neck of a mortal, but he did make the mistake of sneezing as he walked past her. She hates such mortal foibles as normal bodily functions. Makes her twitch, from what I’ve seen. But evil? Who are we to put labels on the moral behavior of beings that are greater than ourselves? I’ve seen Lyranth bend down to pat a kitten on the head, then watched as she turned and gutted a Dark Elf in the street just because the mood struck her. Is that evil? I’ll let you decide."

You can check out the full letter and learn more about the Dread Lady on the official ESO  website. Flame of Ambition launches on PC, Mac and Google Stadia on March 8th, while PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will see it come March 16th.
