Dice has made hundreds of changes to Battlefront II over the past couple of years. After a horrible launch, Dice was able to resurrect the Battlefront franchise in just over a couple of years. The developer's final few updates to the game were primarily focused on balancing the strengths and weaknesses of each reinforcement. In the Scarif update, Dice nerfed several reinforcements, which altered the effectiveness of each reinforcement in game.

The top reinforcements in Battlefront II can get players consistent killstreaks and are not easily countered. The following are all of the reinforcements in Battlefront II ranked from worst to best.

Ewok Hunter

Battlefront II Ewok

Dice added the Ewoks in the Age of Rebellion update and the reinforcement is fun to use on Endor. However, players that use the Ewok will be defeated by almost every other reinforcement. Players often use the Ewok because of how enjoyable it is to snipe enemies with the bow. However, it is difficult to find a reinforcement that is less powerful than the Ewoks.

Wookie Warrior

Chewbacca Star Wars Battlefront 2

The Wookie overload ability is amazing at close range, but outside of point blank range, the Wookies are not very effective. The reinforcement's bowcaster can deal a lot of damage at short ranges, but it will be outclassed by all of the other reinforcements.

ISB Agent

ISB Agents are extremely useful in small lobby modes. Players can use the reinforcement as a melee primary, and down opponents with two hits. The ISB blasters are quite weak, and the reinforcement will be outmatched by better blasters below.

Flame Trooper

Flame troopers are only good in confined spaces. Situationally, flame troopers are the least versatile reinforcement. Dice attempted to add a ranged attack to the reinforcement, but it does not deal enough damage to be viable. Players should avoid using the flame trooper in Battlefront II.

Droideka

For the low cost of the reinforcement, the droideka performs very well. However, the droid takes a long time to transition from its roll to battle mode. Players will need to flank behind enemies to get kills without being taken out.

Rocket Droid

Unfortunately, Dice nerfed the health of the rocket droid in the game's final updates. The rocket droid now has the same health as other aerials, but is still a great reinforcement for the price. Because the droid has a small head, enemies will have trouble mixing in headshots, which makes the reinforcement feel like it has more health.

Rocket troopers

Rocket Trooper

The Imperial and Rebel troopers have identical stats, and both are quite good. All of the aerial reinforcements are powerful, and the rocket troopers will be effective on maps with verticality. There are better reinforcements, but the rocket troopers can be extremely useful operators.

Ovissian Gunner

Ovissian Gunner

Dice nerfed the Ovissian gunner's primary weapon by increasing its reload time and spooling charge up time. Before the update, the Ovissian gunner was one of the most powerful reinforcement in the game. Because of the spooling delay before the reinforcement can fire bullets, the Ovissian gunner remains a middle of the pack reinforcement.

Clone Jump Trooper

The clone rocket troopers have a very good blaster with high damage and low recoil. The class may be the best in the game at tracking and downing enemies at medium range. Players will have a lot of success using the clone aerial reinforcement.

Arc Trooper

ARC Trooper

The Arc Trooper may not have a rapid fire rate blaster after a few nerfs to the reinforcement, but the trooper is still one of the better classes to use in the game. The trooper's blaster is consistent and controllable at short and medium range, and the reinforcement will clear out enemies efficiently.

Caphex Spy

The Caphex Spy is one of the most underrated reinforcements in Battlefront II. Caphex spies have an automatic pistol with really impressive damage values, especially if players can get headshots. Additionally, the reinforcement has an orbital strike that is as good as a hero or villain ability. Players should use the Caphex spy on outdoor maps due to the advantages of using the reinforcement's pistol.

B2 Super Battle Droid

For some reason, players rarely use the B2 battle droid because of their boring abilities. However, the B2 has a ton of health and a powerful blaster. The B2 can take down heroes with ease by using the overload ability. Players will notice that the super battle droid performs well when initiating combat.

Clone Commando

Battlefront II Clones

Clone Commando are the most well rounded reinforcements. The Commando can do anything players want. The reinforcement has a competitive blaster, jet pack, and fast health regen. Players should use the clone commando at close range to maximize the range values of the reinforcements blaster.

First Order Jet Trooper

The trooper's jet pack makes it one of the best reinforcements in the game. Players can hover until seemingly all of the enemy players have been killed. The First Order jet trooper is top tier reinforcement with a high damage blaster and decent abilities.

Commando Droid

Players can use the commando droid for an entire match. The reinforcement's dash, jump, and reveal abilities make it the best Separatist reinforcement. Commando droids are extremely hard to hit, and do enough damage to take out enemy heroes and villains.

Death Trooper

After a few updates, the death trooper has become one of the most dominant reinforcements in the game. Players can charge their overload ability and down enemies instantly. In almost every situation, the death trooper will destroy enemy reinforcements. The trooper's new blaster is more balanced and effective at all ranges. A large health bar, high damage output, and overload put the death trooper in the top two.

Sith Trooper

Battlefront II Red Trooper

Sith troopers are just better at almost everything in the game. In every category and in every encounter,  the Sith trooper is impressive. Players will erase opponents on every map with the reinforcement. The death trooper is good, but the multifaceted Sith trooper is better overall.
