Episode 5 of Guild Wars 2’s Icebrood Saga, called Power, is live today. Here’s what you need to know before diving in.

The release date for Power was first announced just last week, marking a pretty short turnaround time from announcement to release. In Power, fire and furious apocalypse arrive in Tyria, threatening to tear the land apart.
You’ll get to experience four new Dragon response missions with optional challenge modifiers to ramp up the difficulty and lead to greater loot again available to the brave and skilled. Faction recruitment marks its return in Power. It adds two new groups of allies joining the fray, the first will be available at release, with the second arriving a few weeks later.
Additionally, all four chapters of Episode 5 will be free for everyone who owns Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire. Chapter 3, Balance, is set to arrive in March.
