Path of Exile Looks Back at Past Endgame Expansions Ahead of 3.13

Path of Exile’s next expansion 3.13 will officially be revealed on January 7 in a live stream. But ahead of that announcement, the team at Grinding Gear Games have taken us on a romp through history at previous endgame expansions.

The post begins with Atlas of Worlds which unified stores and mechanics through the then-simple endgame which saw the introduction of tons of new maps including 19 bosses.

War for the Atlas was next in 2017 which introduced the Elder. 32 new maps were also added to the game as were influenced items. Betrayal followed in 2018 which reworked how missions worked. This expansion was more focused on master missions and rewards and the introduction of Scarabs.

Finally, Conquerors of the Atlas arrived in 2019 which separated the world into various regions and added Watchstones. Finally, 3.13 will be announced on January 7 which some more key dates below:

  • Jan 7 - 3.13 Announcement Livestream
  • Jan 11 - Heist Ends on PC
  • Jan 15 - 3.13 PC Launch
  • Jan 21 - 3.13 Console Launch
