Last Epoch Game Director Judd Cobler took to the forums to post a year in review of how far the game has come, and what players can expect to see in 2021. Cobler also thanks the players for their enthusiasm and support, and wants to let everyone know “We could not have made it through this year without you.”
It’s been a productive year for Last Epoch with 6 major content updates hitting over the course of the year, and 21 additional updates all in the name of creating a better game, and better experience, for their fans. Some highlights of the past year were:
- Improved combat responsiveness
- Created the Idol system
- Major graphics update
- Performance optimizations
- Introduced new item tiers
- Introduced the Rogue class
There have been so many updates, if you haven’t played in a while, you’ll certainly want to read about some of the last few updates to see what you’ve missed.
In 2021 Cobler states that they want to focus on multiplayer, optimization, expanding end game and itemization, generally polishing the game, and releasing 1.0, which will put the game on the path out of Early Access and on to a released title.
