Genshin Impact has been one of 2020's more surprising hits, as the game's free-to-start MMORPG model seems to have been well-received by many. The game's now nearing its fourth month since being officially released, and as such, players have been able to enjoy a fair number of events, bonuses, and exciting updates.
Naturally, one of the more notable features of Genshin Impact tends to be its playable characters. While players all start as either a female or male-presenting version of the "Traveler" character, they have the option of switching over to other playable teammates, many of which have grown quite popular, due to their stylish designs and unique abilities.
Consequently, these popular characters, like Venti and Amber for example, have managed to inspire a fair number of fan creations since the game's inception. Creative fans have been sharing their incredible Genshin Impact cosplay creations and artwork since before the game was even out of its beta state, and based on the evidence provided, it's safe to say the game's fans seem to be a rather creative bunch. One particular cosplayer, Roxanne Kho, seems to have taken a particular liking to the game's roster, as they've worked their way through cosplays of several of the game's characters. Most recently, Kho has taken on the Lady of the Jade Chamber herself, Ningguang.
Ningguang is a Geo Vision wielder that was introduced together with Tartaglia/Childe. She was the featured four-star character on his Special Character Banner, and is a character integral to the main Genshin Impact storyline. As far as in-game uses, she presents an incredibly powerful Geo mage for players to team up with, dealing substantial amounts of damage while protecting teammates with her Jade Screen. Kho's Ningguang look has drawn particular attention for taking into account nearly every small detail surrounding the character, including props.

Much like a previous Mona cosplayer tackled challenging hair design elements, Kho has confronted Ningguang's difficult design components with absolute confidence.
This cosplaying fan has not only created a base outfit practically identical to Ningguang's own, but also gone further so as to emulate her opulent choice of hairstyle, and her other small quirks. While Klee might be known for her adorable explosive bunnies, Ningguang is respected for her extravagance. Ningguang's hair is partially rolled around a large unique hairpin, and into a long bun atop her head. Moreover, she wears long black gloves with several golden claw-nails, and sports an elegant crimson tattoo down her thigh.
First of all, it should be noted that this fan went through the trouble of constructing all these additional props. And whereas many cosplayers might simply alter the character's design, or try and find alternative design options in response to difficult pieces, Kho has simply put in the work and crafted each of these details. From the custom large "hairpin," to the actual styling of her hair around said pin, Kho has made sure to fully assume the royal Geo character's persona, slender cigarette and all.
Genshin Impact is available now on the App Store, Google Play, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for PS5 and Switch.
