As Geoff Keighley's annual Game Awards showcase draws ever closer, it seems the event is beginning to confirm some of the biggest games set to feature on the show. InnerSloth will be revealing a new Among Us map, BioWare will be showing off a brand new look at Dragon Age 4and Fall Guys developer Mediatonic will be talking about its upcoming third season.

The roster of guest talent is also beginning to stack up, with Geoff Keighley announcing two more names that will be joining the presenters and talent hosting the show. The first is ESPN sports commentator Stephen A. Smith, and the second is iconic voice actor Troy Baker, with both stars set to present during the showcase.

Stephen A. Smith is best known for his work in the sports commentary scene, becoming the subject of several popular memes for his loud, outspoken personality. He recently featured in a live-action commercial for Spider-Man: Miles Moralesinforming viewers of Morales' responsibilities and what makes him such an endearing hero.

Troy Baker, on the other hand, has a much clearer connection with the video game industry. Starring as Joel in The Last of Us, Booker Dewitt in Bioshock: Infinite, The Joker in Arkham Origins, and Bruce Banner in the recently released Marvel's AvengersBaker has been a staple of video game voice acting and motion capture for years now. He's sure to be an asset to the show, especially considering he's starred in some of this year's most successful games.

The duo will join a stacked lineup of presenters, including Spider-Man star Tom Holland, Captain Marvel's Brie Larson, and Wonder Woman lead Gal Gadot. They'll even be joined by a member of the Muppets, with Swedish Chef slated to present part of the ceremony.

As for the games themselves, this year is stacked with huge releases currently vying to take home some trophies. Fall Guys, Among Us, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Half-Life: Alyx have all been nominated for some of The Game Awards' biggest prizes, whether that's tech, performance, or art-related. The main event, however, will see the likes of Ghost of Tsushima, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, The Last of Us Part 2, Doom Eternal, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Hades all go head to head to see who secures the Game of the Year trophy. It'll be a tight race and one that fans won't want to miss when it airs on December 10.
