Ghost of Tsushima has been out for over four months now, and the game continues to receive praise from players and critics. Shortly after its release, Ghost of Tsushima received mostly positive reviews, thanks to its vast open-world environment, immersive gameplay, and interesting characters. Moreover, the game's protagonist, Jin Sakai, has since become a popular figure among gamers.
Now, it appears that players will be able to display a collectible based on Ghost of Tsushima's Jin Sakai given that an action figure of the character is currently in the works. The upcoming Jin Sakai figure will be made by POLY-TOYS and manufactured by Good Smile Company. At the moment, the figure is up for pre-order for $104.99.
The pre-order will be available online starting now until January 26, 2021, at 11:59 PT. It is worth noting that the figure won't be available until September of 2021, so players who pre-order shouldn't expect to get it right away. However, players who pre-order the Jin Sakai figure will receive a large size Figma Stand featuring the Ghost of Tsushima logo. Based on the description provided by Good Smile Company, the figure will be using smooth yet posable joints, allowing players to create a variety of action-packed poses when displaying it among their collection.
Moreover, the statue will be made via a flexible plastic that will allow proportions to be correct without compromising posablity. The Sakai Katana and Sakai Tanto will also be included as optional parts, alongside Jin's half-bow, an arrow, and a sword. Additionally, it will also come with a glaring faceplate created using detailed 3D paintwork technology. Although much of the figure will remain plastic, Jin's cape will be made with real fabric.
The Game Awards recently confirmed that Ghost of Tsushima is one of the games up for the Game of The Year Award category alongside Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Doom Eternal, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Hades, and The Last of Us 2. While there is some stiff competition in the category, some players hope that Ghost of Tsushima will take home GOTY. The Game Awards will take place on December 11.
