For the past few months, the release date of Cyberpunk 2077 has been uncertain, especially after the game suffered from multiple delays. Yesterday, CD Projekt Red revealed in an investor meeting that Cyberpunk 2077 would definitely launch on December 10, and it appears that the studio is confident that it will meet the aforementioned release date.

Now, similar to The Witcher 3, players should expect to see a lot of post-launch content for Cyberpunk 2077. Initially, CD Projekt Red wanted to reveal all the DLC plans for Cyberpunk 2077 before the game's release, but it appears now that players won't be able to hear anything about it until after the base game launches in December. In a statement released by CD Projekt Red President Adam Kicinski, he detailed that, "after the recent delay, we decided to wait for the release to provide gamers with the game and then start talking about future projects."

Of course, given that Cyberpunk 2077 has already been delayed three times, it is not surprising that CD Projekt Red is pouring all of its resources in to ensure that the game will meet its target release date. Several weeks ago, reports surfaced that CD Projekt Red's stock value decreased by 25% ever since its peak last August. Analysts believe that the dip in its value is due to crunch reports within the studio and the uncertainty of Cyberpunk 2077's development. However, with the game all set to release this December, it is expected that CD Projekt Red's stock value will recover, especially since the game is expected to be both a commercial and critical success.

Apart from Cyberpunk 2077's future DLC that players won't hear about until after the game's release, CD Projekt Red also plans to include a multiplayer mode. However, it is worth noting that the studio revealed last July that Cyberpunk 2077's multiplayer mode is also delayed, and players will probably have to wait for a little while before it gets rolled into Cyberpunk 2077.

Meanwhile, players who plan to purchase Cyberpunk 2077 on the PC should be happy to know that CD Projekt Red offers bonus content for Cyberpunk 2077 Steam and GOG buyers. The bonus content is in the form of a short story called 2AM-She Calls, which is written by the game's story lead, Tomasz Marchewka. In a post by Cyberpunk 2077's official Twitter account, it provided a short blurb of the story, which will show players the hostile streets of Night City from the perspective of Frank, and ex-NCPD officer.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on December 10th, 2020, for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions currently in development.
