Cyberpunk 2077 may very well be one of the most anticipated and sought after video games of the year. After all, CD Projekt Red, along with a significant portion of the gaming community, have been hyping Cyberpunk 2077 up as one of the most wanted games of 2020. Though, many in the gaming community have rightfully had doubts as to whether the game will actually release on the intended date.

Back in late October, Cyberpunk 2077's release date was delayed until December, which upset quite a number of people considering that the game had already been delayed twice in this year alone. This caused many to question whether or not the same fate would meet this new release date that CD Projekt Red had announced, but now it seems the company is confident in the game's release.

CD Projekt Red released its consolidated financial results that showcased a large number metrics and data tracking the sales of its currently released titles, such as The Witcher 3. One thing that CD Projekt Red seemed to really want to drive home on one of the last pages of the report was the fact that there is only fifteen days left until the global release of Cyberpunk 2077.

With this image being presented in one of the last pages of the report, it seems that CD Projekt Red really wanted to assure its investors that the game will be released on the new release date. If this is the company's intention, then this truly does mean that the game will be coming out on December 10th, 2020.

Cyberpunk 2077 was originally announced over eight years ago and has experienced several delays. The game was supposed to come out during the Spring of 2020, only to then be delayed three times in one year. Admittedly, some of this was due to complications with COVID-19 and therefore, mostly out of CD Projekt Red's control, but still led to irritation from a number of fans.

In any case, all fans can do is hope that the game releases on the intended date, and the stars do seem to align that way. Either way, there's still quite a lot to look forward to in terms of this game. With a large scale open world, dynamic gameplay and customization mechanics, and with the promise of a playable Keanu Reeves, Cyberpunk 2077 still looks to be a game that many players will likely never forget.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on December 10th, 2020 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
