Cyberpunk 2077’s long development cycle seems like it’s finally going to come to an end after several years. Despite Cyberpunk 2077 getting delayed again to December 10, it’s highly likely that fans won’t see another delay before then.

Now, the development team has been sharing more updates on some aspects of development on social feeds, seeing as the game is so close to release. In fact, CD Projekt Red has confirmed on Twitter that players will have the option to toggle off nudity throughout their playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077.

Longtime fans of the Cyberpunk franchise dating all the way back to the original table top role-playing game know that the series does not shy away from adult subjects. Naturally, that’s going to be the case with CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077, as well. Earlier this year, Cyberpunk 2077’s ESRB rating revealed the game will be full of adult content, including intense violence, use of drugs and alcohol, and of course, nudity. However, those players who don’t want to be exposed to Cyberpunk 2077’s elements of nudity for whatever reason will have the option to toggle off the game’s nudity.

This confirmation comes by way of CD Projekt Red’s QA lead Łukasz Babiel. Specifically, it comes from a response on Babiel’s Twitter account. After Babiel posted screenshots showing he has spent 175 hours in Cyberpunk 2077 without reaching the credits, he took time to answer a random question in the replies to that tweet. A user going by the handle @TrustyPillow asked Babiel if players will be able to censor or toggle off the game’s nudity in the settings, to which Babiel confirmed that there will be an option for that in-game.

Unfortunately, to what extent that nudity filter goes still remains unknown. Similarly, players aren’t exactly 100 percent sure just how often nudity will pop up throughout the course of Cyberpunk 2077. Though, seeing glimpses of the game’s world through extended gameplay trailers and development footage, it safe to say that Cyberpunk 2077’s world is going to have plenty of adult content littered throughout the various locales that players will visit and explore. Still it’s nice to know that players who aren’t comfortable with the game’s nudity will be able to hide it to some extent.

It’s may strike some as crazy that Cyberpunk 2077 is almost here. After years and years of waiting, fans are finally about to get their hands on CD Projekt Red’s next massive open world game. For those worried that Cyberpunk 2077 might receive another surprise delay, it looks promising that that won’t be the case this time around. Photos of PS4 copies of Cyberpunk 2077 on store shelves are already making their rounds online. Now that fans know for sure the full discs are getting sent out to the wild, it seems all but assured that the game will finally be out on December 10.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia on December 10, with enhanced PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X ports coming next year.
