Phantasy Star Online 2 Global has added a new Urgent Quest, known as the Castrum Demonica: Madness quest, which coincides with some Thanksgiving festivities that have also gone live. In addition to the new quest, a new collaboration will be hitting the virtual shelves as Guilty Gear and BlazBlue items will be available starting November 18th.
ARKS operatives should be on their toes, as Falspawn have purportedly infiltrated their ranks. Players will need to join the Castrum Demonica Madness event to defeat them, and prevent some truly catastrophic occurrences from happening. As if that wasn’t enough to contend with, operatives might also find that the shopping plaza is now adorned with festive turkey and thanksgiving inspired decorations.
Fred White of the PSO2 Team released a statement on what they are thankful for:
This year, PSO2 TEAM Global is thankful for the opportunity to have launched Phantasy Online 2 Global in 35 nations and territories throughout the world, and for the passionately dedicated players that make PSO2 the special game that it is, we are grateful every day for every player that has joined us in the PSO2 community and accompanied us on this incredible journey. Now let the holiday 'feastivities' begin!"
Starting November 18th, a new collaboration pack will also be available providing costumes and hairstyles from Guilty Gear and Blazblue. Notable costumes and styles from the following characters have already been reported:
- Sol Badguy
- Ky Kiske
- Millia Rage
- Elphelt Valentine
- Ragna the Bloodedge
- Jin Kisaragi
- Noel Vermillion
Phantasy Star Online 2 has been quite popular with its global release, and recently had to ban over 10 thousand real money trading accounts. That came shortly on the heels of its last free update, Episode 5 which introduced the Hero class to the game.
