From today through November 10th, anyone with a bent to doing so can play ARK: Survival Evolved for free. The free event is for PC users and comes through Steam. The client can be downloaded starting today with all of the game’s content available including the TLC Pass #3 that comes out on Saturday, November 7th. This includes newly updated visuals/abilities for both the Stegosaurus and the Wolly Mammoth as well as insect/wyvern breeding.
In addition to all of the great content to play through, Studio Wildcard developers will be participating in a fundraising effort for Extra Life. For 24-hours starting Saturday, November 7th, developers will be streaming ARK with all proceeds going to Extra Life to assist kids in need. Viewers can expect prizes and giveaways including Collector’s Editions of the game, boosted Official Network rates, and Genesis 2 reveals.
Those who play ARK through the weekend and who choose to purchase the game can do so for 80% off the price of the base game, 65% off each of the DLC packages, 65% off the Season Pass, and Genesis Season Pass for 20% off.
