PS5 HDMI 2.1 Cable

A nice little detail to take into account when you bust open your PS5 later this month: the HDMI cable that the console comes with is actually HDMI 2.1, meaning that it supports 4K resolution at 120Hz (yep, it's the same as the Xbox Series X). In other words, you won't have to go and buy a new HDMI cable if you want to game at 120 frames-per-second.

Of course, if you are planning on playing a game at 120fps, there are a couple of other factors to consider. For starters, not every PS5 game will be able to run at that frame rate. Only a small handful of titles have been confirmed to support 120fps, including Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition and DIRT 5 (for a full list of confirmed PS5 games that support 120fps, check out this guide: All PS5 Games Running at 120 Frames-Per-Second). On top of that, you'll obviously need a TV or display that also supports 120Hz.

Still, it's nice to know that you won't have to buy an additional HDMI cable should you one day decide to upgrade your gaming setup.
