Furi dev's striking romantic space adventure Haven is out in December

On PC, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Haven, the romantic space adventure from The Game Bakers - the studio behind gloriously psychedelic arcade boss-rush extravaganza Furi - finally has a release date, and will be making its way to PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam and GOG) on 3rd December.

Described as game "about everyday love, rebelling against the rules and also, food", Haven casts players as lovers Yu and Kay as they attempt to survive on a eerie and unstable planet.

"Glide together through a mysterious landscape," explains The Game Bakers, "craft, cook, and gather resources to make a cozy home, repair your ship, fight in real-time, and make the ultimate choice about if it's worth sacrificing everything for love." At least some of that action makes an appearance in Haven's freshly released story trailer.

Haven is predominantly intended as a solo experience, with part of the challenge stemming from the need to control Yu and Kay at the same time. However, it's also possible for a second player - "a friend or romantic partner" - to join in at any time via Haven's local co-op.

The Game Bakers notes that players purchasing Haven on PS5 or Xbox Series X/S come 3rd December will also get the PS4 or Xbox One for free (and vice versa). The PS4 version, incidentally, is scheduled to arrive alongside a Switch edition early next year.
