Ashes of Creation Creative Director, Steven Sharif, shared his letter to the community recently where the dates of Alpha One testing was shared.
Alpha One Pre Test 1 is set to begin in December on December 18 running through December 21. This will be under NDA and is open to all Bravers and Intrepid Pack Holders. It looks like there will be a full wipe at the end of this four day testing period.
We’ll have to wait until 2021 for the next Pre Test. Pre Test 2 runs from February 19 through February 22. It also is under NDA and is open to all Bravers and Intrepid Pack Holders. Like the first test, there will be a full wipe after the four day test period.
Pre Test 3 begins on March 19 through March 26 and is open to all Alpha One testers in addition to “official content creators.” The test will run for one week before experiencing a full wipe, similar to the previous two tests. Crucially, there will be no NDA on this test.
Finally, full-blown Alpha One is set to begin on April 6 running through May 6. Yes, that’s one full month of alpha preview. Interestingly, there doesn’t appear to be a mention of any wipe after this test. You can catch the full letter here which covers off various other development updates.
