In CD Projekt Red's latest Night City Wire, it was announced that the upcoming game from the Polish studio, Cyberpunk 2077, would also be making its way to Google Stadia. It will launch with the rest of the platforms on November 19th.
In a Press Release, CDPR's SVP of Business Development, Micha? Nowakowski stressed the benefits gamers will see if they choose to play Cyberpunk on Google's cloud-based platform.
"Huge in scale and scope, Cyberpunk 2077 is our most ambitious game to date. It’s humbling to see just how many people are looking forward to playing it, and we want to make it possible for as many gamers as possible come November 19th, when the game launches. The Stadia version will allow players to jump into Night City just seconds after the game unlocks for play worldwide without any downloads needed."
Stadia players will also see various digital goodies should they choose to dive into CDPR's upcoming game on Stadia, such as the original score, art booklet, wallpapers and more.
In addition to the partnership with Google, CDPR also announced this morning that it's bringing the legendary sportscar, the Porsche 911 to Cyberpunk. CDPR states that the "automotive icon retains its classic 1977 look" while still being adapted to the "reality of 2077." Porsche has also recreated a real-life, fully operation version of the in-game car which will be on display at the Porsche Mueseum in Stuttgart Starting today through the 22nd of October.
Cyberpunk 2077 will release on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X, Playstation 4 and Playstation 5, and now Stadia on November 19th.
