The Borderlands franchise really does enjoy giving its pieces of DLC the strangest names, doesn't it? Borderlands 3 alone has already had Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright and Hammerlock as well as Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck, but now it's getting two more as part of a second season pass. Available on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, the Designer's Cut and the Director's Cut will introduce brand new modes to the looter shooter and more skill trees for every character.
The Designer's Cut arrives next month on 10th November 2020 while the Director's Cut is scheduled for release in Spring 2021. The former will contain "an additional Skill Tree for each Vault Hunter and a brand-new game mode called Arms Race", with reveals of content pieces planned across the rest of this month. It is not currently known if these expansions will add any new story content. Gearbox Software stopped short of sharing pricing details for the second season pass, but don't forget that the free PS5 upgrade will be available as soon as the next-gen console launches.

I’m all in on this. Recently got the last few trophies on the Flustercluck and then found out that it was getting a 4K upgrade for PS5. So I’m glad I can take advantage of that now. Thanks for the heads up. Great news.
Question: do you guys prefer a second season pass like this, or increasing the price of the season pass like Bethesda did with Fallout 4?
Knowing Pitchford, this is his staff telling us he has a cocaine problem.
It should have been Desnyder cut!
@Milktastrophe Neither, price should stay the same.
@KidBoruto haha, very funny. But I think you meant to say "all dlc should be free since I already paid for the game"
@Milktastrophe Yes, this very much. I still hate the very idea behind DLC.
I do realize there are real instances where the DLC wasn't planned out until the game was ready etc...but for the most part it always seems like the DLC should have just been part of the main game/experience.
