Kakao Games and Pearl Abyss have announced the release of the latest expansion to the popular MMORPG, Black Desert Online. BDO players can now venture forth to an entirely new region called O’dyllita. The new location arrives just in time for Halloween.
In O’dyllita, players will find a “haunted and gothic-inspired” area that is the home to the Ahib, a “sinister elven race”. Players will encounter spooky scenery, gargoyles, and the ever-chilling Ahib. There are, of course, fresh challenges and items to discover along the way. Developers warn players that this is one of the most difficult areas in the game, so those with a bent to challenging gameplay will be right at home.
In addition to the new location, BDO players with a showman’s proclivity can earn some sweet loot via Twitch drops. Those who stream or view specially designated streams on Twitch in the BDO category can take home a Basic Package for one hour of viewing, a Secret Book of Old Moon for 5 hours of viewing, or a Lv. 57 Travel Kit for 9 hours of viewing. Players can also take home 10 Cron Stones each day for viewing BDO streams for a scant 30 minutes.
