Play Overwatch for Free Next Week on Switch

Blizzard Entertainment has announced a free week of Overwatch on Nintendo Switch in celebration of the game’s first anniversary on the console. From October 13th to October 20th, Switch Online members can download and play the first-person shooter free of charge. There are no restrictions on gameplay hours or content. In addition, those who opt to purchase the game at the conclusion of the F2P event will find that all progress, achievements, and rewards will remain on their account.

OW is also available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. There is no word whether or not other platforms will enjoy a free-to-play period.
