Destruction AllStars is predominantly a competitive multiplayer experience, but there’s still a single player series for you to work your way through. Revealed courtesy of the official PlayStation website, you’ll be able to “master over 50 events to prove yourself a Destruction legend”. The page adds: “Unlock new skins, emotes, and banners as you take on AI rivals in momentous challenges spread across the five global arenas.”

A selection of new screenshots embedded above showcase the kind of visual feast you can expect come launch, which is filled with sparks and crumpled metal. Remember, the title blends vehicular carnage with on-foot parkour, and in the online mode you’ll battle against persistent rivals and “experience new limited-time rule twists in Special Events”. We’re still waiting for new gameplay footage of this release, but developer Lucid Games has promised all will be revealed soon.
