Players looking forward to buying Yakuza: Like a Dragon when the game releases for PC in November are now able to know exactly what is required of their machine to run the crime RPG. Luckily, it looks like the game's PC system requirements won't be too intense, and most people likely won't need to upgrade their PCs if they want to run the game.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is going to be available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on November 10, making this yet another Xbox Series X launch title. However, the PS5 version will not come out until a few months after it's available for every other console, so players planning to use that particular platform will have to wait. For now, those planning on playing on PC will want to know the system requirements.

The RAM required has doubled since Yakuza 0 with its 4 GB requirement, but many players will be able to use the same PC they ran the other games in the series with. The Yakuza games are not known for running consoles ragged or requiring a lot of space, and that's not because they have poor graphics or low amounts of content, but because of the general style the games are made in. Here are the requirements players will need to keep in mind.

Yakuza PC players already have a leg up over PlayStation players, not only because the PS5 version of Like a Dragon isn't coming until early 2021, but Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios is confirming that Like a Dragon's PS4 save data won't transfer to PS5. Since consoles and PCs are so different and PCs aren't classified into generations the same way Xbox and PlayStation are, the requirements for running games on PC are a little more nebulous and there's some definite wiggle room. PS5 straight-up won't run certain games, whereas many PCs will run a game not designed for it, but at a lower quality.

Players will be able to look forward to seeing Yakuza's combo of lighthearted and serious storylines in action in about a month and a half, which is plenty of time to verify one's PC specs.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon releases for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on November 10, 2020. The PS5 version will release on March 2nd, 2021.
