Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most expansive open-world games ever created. With a variety of areas to explore, random encounters with enemies, and a cacophony of procedurally-generated side content, Red Dead Redemption 2 has a lot to offer players by way of gameplay. So much so that even after being out for two years, players are still finding hidden secrets within the game.

The world of Red Dead 2 is approximately four times the size of the map featured in Red Dead 1, and is home to some dark secrets. With how content rich the overall game is, there's a lot for the player to discover and encounter well into the game's runtime.

One player, YouTuber cad5150 recently discovered a hidden interrogation cutscene that can be triggered during one of the in-game missions. Protagonist Arthur Morgan and Charles Smith are tasked with tracking down Josiah Trelawny, and during the mission they encounter two men camping in a nearby forest. If Arthur shoots and kills one of them, a special cutscene will play out.

With the remaining NPC still alive, Arthur will shoot at the ground near the man's feet until the man finally tells Arthur what he saw. It's interesting to see this as an option considering on most missions, if the player kills any NPCs or characters unrelated to the mission, they will often fail. Thus, this cutscene is another one of the numerous hidden secrets found in Red Dead Redemption 2.

In any case, it is amazing to see players are still finding additional secrets and Easter eggs long after the game's launch. In fact, not long ago, a player found a morbid secret outside of Micah's hideout. The level of polish and detail found in about every facet of the game goes to show how much time and energy was put into its development.

With any luck, players will continue to find additional secrets and solve mysteries present within the world of the game. For the longest time, players had no idea what to make of the Tumbleweed mystery, and have only just recently figured out the larger story behind it. In any case, it seems likely players will continue to discover new secrets within Red Dead Redemption 2 in the years to come.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
