A game that just came out this month is Spellbreak. Though there was a beta earlier in the year, this new battle royale wasn't officially released until September 3. Spellbreak is a fantasy game in which 42 players fight against each other, making this one of the battle royales with the least amount of players per game. As a result, players have a lot of time to loot and do not run into opponents as often as they do in other games, making this one of the easiest battle royales there is. The art style is very similar to Breath of the Wild and the violence is mild, making this a game suitable for most ages.
8 Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was a highly anticipated game in the franchise and was the first Call of Duty game to have a battle royale mode with it. Though this installment of the series still has a lot of the elements that the previous games had, this one focuses on the inclusion of Blackout, the battle royale mode, rather than a single player campaign.

Realm Royale is an online fantasy game made by the creators of Paladins and Smite. There are four classes to choose from: warrior, mage, assassin, and hunter. One mechanic that makes Realm Royale different from other battle royales is that when looting, players can choose to disenchant items and get shards. This game has players battle against each other to see who the best Tetris player is. By clearing rows, players can send them to other players as a way to attack their opponents.

For example, Bloodhound can track opponents down, Mirage can clone himself while turning invisible, and Lifeline is a healer who can revive her comrades faster than others can. This results in teammates having to work together more in this game than in most other battle royales. This brand new game takes elements of battle royales and party games to create a title that is far from falling. Fall Guys is considered by many to be similar to a game show due to the minigames this unique battle royale has to offer. These minigames include obstacle courses in which players race to the finish line, team games where players have to work together, and a variety of games that are unlike any of the others, such as Hex-A-Gone and Tip Toe. Fall Guys became an instant success and is one of the few titles that has been able to compete with Fortnite in terms of popularity.
