Polish developer Bloober Team has announced that the cyberpunk horror title Observer: System Redux will be a launch title for both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X. Observer: System Redux utilizes next-gen graphics capabilities to improve and remaster the original 2017 title Observer.

Observer: System Redux will be available the same day each console releases. Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S release on November 10 so the game will first launch for PC and Xbox, with a second release for PlayStation 5 when it launches on November 12. Despite being a next-gen title, Observer: System Redux will cost the same amount of $29.99 as the original Observer.

Observer places players in control of Detective Daniel Lazarski as he investigates strange occurrences in his son's apartment complex. Daniel uses a device that is able to tap into a person's thoughts and experience the horrors inside their mind, which he uses for intense interrogations. Observer uses a combination of horror and a narrative-driven story to create a unique experience that can change every playthrough. Although it was not the most anticipated title in 2017, Observer is widely considered a successful horror title.

Now, in Observer: System Redux, the graphics have been improved greatly using 4K, HDR, and ray-tracing technology. With the rebuilt next-gen graphics, every creepy hallway and terrifying monster will look more realistic through Daniel's eyes. Not only have the graphics been improved, but the gameplay will have noticeable differences as well. Observer: System Redux will add three new story cases, reworked stealth gameplay, new interrogations, and new secrets to unlock.

Observer: System Redux may not be the only horror title Bloober Team releases this year. Bloober Team's dual-reality horror title The Medium is set to release for PC and Xbox Series X this holiday season. The Medium will also utilize next-gen capabilities to create an immersive horror experience, but will also utilize the Xbox Series X background streaming capabilities to create fluid gameplay with minimal loading and transitions. Both titles are already available for pre-order, with Steam offering a 10% discount on pre-orders and the digital soundtracks included.

Pre-orders have already launched for the PlayStation 5, however the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will launch pre-orders starting on September 22. Sony launched pre-orders for the PlayStation 5 following the PlayStation showcase, which caused some problems for customers and online retail stores. To avoid having similar problems, Microsoft specified an exact time that pre-orders would launch. Regardless of which system is chosen, Observer: System Redux can be played the day that console releases.

Observer: System Redux releases November 10 for PC and Xbox Series X, and November 12 for PlayStation 5.
