Sony has posted the PlayStation Store charts for last month, and to nobody's real surprise, Fall Guys performed very well indeed. The little indie game that could reached number one in Europe, while it's a little further down in North America, taking fourth place. It's Madden NFL 21 that scoops the win in that region, naturally.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare takes second place in both territories, and Ghost of Tsushima also comes in strong — third in the US and fourth in Europe. Interestingly, the PSVR charts for both regions are almost identical; Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series debuts at the top, with Beat Saber and Superhot VR making up the podium. In terms of free-to-play titles, Ubisoft's battle royale shooter Hyper Scape takes the crown on both charts.
You can see more on the regional charts through the link. What games did you download from PS Store in August? Tell us in the comments section below.

Well the Madden boycott worked out well lads, great job.
Nfl season started yesterday so yeah.madden oviously gonna top everything.lets go Pittsburgh Steelers and get that 7 heaven superbowl trophy.word up son
Chiefs vs. Texans was destined to be a huge pull, given the playoffs last year. Oh...and I finally won my first Fall Guys round last night.
Madden doing so well actually does not reflect on Electronic Arts...................People cannot play these titles unless they are fully licensed which in fact says a lot about how society has done a good job in moulding them into certain types of consumers.............there is no doubt without these licenses Electronic Arts would not be able to milk the microtranactions so succesfully...............there are People out there that see past licences but Electronic Arts are not worried about them.
I always get a kick out of that.
Wow that's alot of Idiots willing to buy broken garbage such as Madden
Does this include Plus downloads cos if not Fall Guys has done amazingly.
Man sucker punch really strike gold with ghost of tsushima, can't wait for the ps5 patch and multiplayer update this fall
The game is a bit too big though, usually in open world games I play the main mission and some of the sidequests, but in this game the sidequests is good so I want to finish all of them and not playing the main quest. I play like maybe 30-40 hours in the first island alone 100% completing it, lol.
@avenovah I didn't realise they started work on TLOU2 four years before TLOU1 came out.
@AdamNovice The weird thing is, you need PS+ to play it but if you have PS+ it was free. So is this just downloads rather than sales?
@Xnx_gaming - i'm glad to hear someone else sees madden for what it is - and don't forget all monetary hooks they've got in the game.
madden/nfl is a joke.

EA should be trying to figure out how to make people "boycott" their next game.
Like I said regarding Push Square’s Madden review: it’s review proof.
That could be a lesson to the loud minority, but nope. The echo chambers where they spend most of their time makes them have a distorted sense of reality.
At least some people here get it. Madden will keep selling no matter how much they attack EA.
Sports games are beyond saving at this point. This is what people that buy Madden and Fifa and all that other trash want. At this point it's just a fact that they enjoy trash games and they cannot argue against it. They play trash, garbage games.
@naruball Those first 2 sentences could/should be posted on every comment thread on the internet. Well done...
@TheKramer89 cheers
