The first of two planned DLC for The Outer Worlds has been released. Peril on Gorgon is available for $14.99 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It is also part of the Expansion Pass that includes Peril on Gorgon and the upcoming Murder on Eridanos. The Expansion Pass is $24.99.

During the adventures on Gorgon, players will be introduced to an entirely new storyline and new characters. In addition, they will be able to find tons of new gear including three new science weapons. One example is the P.E.T. (Pet Extermination Tool) that brings enemies close enough for melee combat. There are new armor sets and variations, new creature variants, and more perks/flaws.
